Pull your ear

In 2020, and every year thereafter,

I will 

fight for my dreams, relentlessly; and

protect my loved ones, fiercely.

I just turned 29 yesterday.
A year older, but none the wiser.

Adulting is so damn difficult.

Family. Friends. Colleagues. Relationships. Work. Finances. Health. Pastimes. Sleep.

Just to name a few; in no particular order. 

Except for family - you need to always choose family.

You can't have it all, so you sacrifice some for the others.  

Like a gamble that doesn't always pay off.

And when the stakes are highest, 

I seem to always make the dumbest choices.
